Birthday Party Venues in Palm Beach

Choosing the Right Birthday Party Venue

Palm Beach has a pub and a private beachfront room for birthdays, both on the Gold Coast Highway. Palm Beach Hotel keeps costs modest with set menus and share platters, while Pacific Beach Function Centre gives you exclusive use and more control over catering.

The two Palm Beach birthdays compared:

Palm Beach Hotel has two function areas holding up to 120, with set menus from $35 per person.
The hotel's upstairs Private Space seats 40 or stands 60, with its own bar and a movable dance floor.
Pacific Beach Function Centre holds 160 for cocktails, from $3,500 room hire.
The centre's covered balcony faces the ocean, and guests can walk straight down to the beach.
Catering at Pacific Beach Function Centre can be self-run in its kitchen or brought in by an approved caterer.

The Saloon Bar is the casual pick, bright and airy with a slightly funky mix of furniture.
A minimum spend applies there on Friday and Saturday evenings, and the team confirms the figure when you enquire.
Blackout curtains in the Private Space help if you want dancing in daylight hours.
Share platters feed 8 to 10, from crostini and skewers to tacos and seafood tapas.

Rules to know at the Pacific Beach room

Drinks are served only by the venue, and you cannot bring your own.
The licence covers the balcony and indoor room, so the party can't move down to the lawn.
Events finish by 11pm, and Friday and Saturday bookings have a seven-hour minimum.
Any outside supplier must be insured and approved by the venue manager first.
