About Osmic Productions
Osmic Productions is a family-run event production and hire company with its head office and warehouse at Biggera Waters. DJ bookings have been part of the business from its early days, and they now sit alongside audio, lighting, screens, staging and styling, so a DJ can arrive as part of a larger setup or on their own. A booking starts with a conversation about your music: the genres you like, the songs you want played and anything you would rather not hear. Consultations can be held at your home or at the venue. The set is then timed around speeches, formalities and any live acts, and an MC can be added if you want one person looking after the running order too. Weddings are planned around entrances, first dance, speeches and the reception. Corporate clients book for gala dinners, launches and end-of-year functions, and private clients for birthdays and anniversaries. School formals are also on the list, with organisers able to set out requests and content restrictions before the night. The practical advantage is having everything under one roof. The decks, speakers, mics and lights are chosen to fit your room, and uplighting, monogram projection, a photo booth, dance floors or effects such as cold sparks and low-lying fog can join the brief. If you already have a performer, individual decks and systems can be hired instead, priced apart from a staffed booking. Delivery, setup and technical support are planned around each Gold Coast venue, so send an enquiry with your date, venue and guest numbers.

Frequently asked questions
Can we choose the music our DJ plays?
Yes. You can pass on preferred genres, must-play songs and tracks to leave out, plus any key entrances or special requests, so the DJ can prepare before the event.
Does Osmic Productions supply an MC as well as a DJ?
MC services can be included when you ask for them. The MC and DJ set are then coordinated with speeches, formalities and the venue's timings for the event.
Can lighting and effects be added to a DJ booking?
Yes. Uplighting, monogram projection, photo booths and special effects can join your brief, with effects and how they run checked against your venue's rules.
Can we hire DJ equipment without booking a DJ?
Yes. If you already have a performer, individual decks and systems are available to hire, and the team prices that separately from a booking with a DJ.
Do they work on school formals?
Yes. They bring together the DJ, speakers, lights and any staging for formals, and organisers can pass on requests and content limits ahead of the night.
