Best Silent Disco is a family-run event and equipment company with its head office in Biggera Waters on the Gold Coast. It specialises in one idea: music delivered to wireless LED headphones instead of speakers. Each guest chooses a channel and sets their own volume, and the colour of the headphone lights shows who is listening to what. There are two main ways to book. A staffed event brings the team to you, with silent DJs, lighting, event staff, set-up, handing out headphones, channel support and pack-down. A dry hire delivers charged headphones, transmitters, cables and written instructions, and you plug in a phone, laptop or DJ controller and run the music yourself. Hybrid arrangements sit between the two. Because the sound stays in the headphones, the format suits places where a normal PA would struggle: noise-restricted venues, homes with close neighbours, rooftops and beaches. The transmitters can run on battery where there is no mains power, and guests can still talk to each other without shouting over the music. Weddings can take a split format, with a DJ playing out loud through a PA early in the night and the headphones taking over later. Birthdays, hens and bucks nights, kids' parties, post-formal events, work functions and team-building activities are all part of the regular mix. The headphones adjust to fit both adults and children, and Blue Card staff are available for school and youth events.
