About Sambaliscious
Sambaliscious is a samba school and show team founded by Mishel Finlayson, who holds classes at a studio in Southport. For events, it supplies professional dancers in Carnival costumes, with live Brazilian drumming on selected packages, for weddings, hens parties, corporate functions, festivals and private celebrations around the Gold Coast. Three packages set the starting point, and each can be adjusted for the theme, venue and schedule. Carnival Dancers runs for 10–20 minutes with two dancers and a meet and greet, which works well as a welcome. A 20–30 minute option adds a third dancer and either roving interaction or a mini dance class. The full package, also 20–30 minutes, combines three dancers and three drummers with a showcase, roving, a mini class and crowd activities. The entertainment is designed to involve people. At a hens party, the dancers can perform for the group, teach an easy routine and pose for photos. Weddings can use a surprise show, an entrance or arrival entertainment, while conga lines help mixed groups of guests onto the dance floor. Corporate clients can book for Christmas parties, conferences, gala dinners, brand activations and product launches. Prices are not published, so send an enquiry with your date, location and type of celebration to get the right package recommended.
