About Brazilian Dance Group

Brazilian Dance Group is a Benowa troupe that brings Brazilian dance and culture to Gold Coast events. Its samba performers wear large feather costumes, and a show can be built around dancers alone or expanded with capoeira artists and live drummers. Capoeira mixes martial arts, dance and acrobatics, so it gives a show a different kind of energy from the samba routines. Alongside samba, the group works in Brazilian styles such as axé, forró and lambada, and it can also present Latin dance and belly dance. Hip hop and other styles can be organised when a client asks. Bookings are shaped around the event. Small or large groups are available for private parties, weddings, birthdays, corporate functions and festivals, and performers can rove among guests, take a stage or lead a workshop. A party animation service adds games and interactive activities for hosts who want guests involved instead of simply watching. The group also offers extras such as photo and video coverage and a surprise message delivered by car. Prices are not published, so send an enquiry with your date, location and the kind of show you have in mind for a tailored quote.
