About NF Celebrancy
NF Celebrancy is run by Nina Fynn, an authorised marriage celebrant who works from Southport on the Gold Coast. She grew up between Japan and Australia and speaks both languages fluently, including the formal register older Japanese relatives expect at a ceremony. The simplest option is Paperwork and Prose, a legals-only ceremony of around 15 minutes for the two of you and two witnesses. It can happen somewhere meaningful to you, and vows or rings can be added. For a small crowd, the Sweetheart elopement holds up to 10 people including the couple and Nina. It uses a short written script and gentle help with vows. The Classic Storybook is the full ceremony, with a personal script, a PA system and early arrival to work with your suppliers. The Signature Bilingual version carries the whole service in both languages and can include rituals such as san-san-kudo. Nina also helps international couples with visa-ready paperwork, and can stay on to host the reception, in one language or both. Can the whole ceremony be in both English and Japanese?
Yes. Nina delivers the Signature Bilingual ceremony live in both languages, which also removes the need for a separate NAATI interpreter for the legal wording.
What is a legals-only wedding with NF Celebrancy?
It covers the Notice of Intended Marriage, ID checks, the legal wording and vows, signing with two witnesses and registration, in about 15 minutes at a place you choose.
Do we need a permit for a beach wedding?
Yes. Nina notes that the city council requires bookings for all beach ceremonies on the Gold Coast, and for most park ceremonies with arches, seating or styling.
Can our dog be part of the ceremony?
Yes. Pets are welcome, and Nina can share handling tips and ideas for involving them. Themed weddings are also embraced if that suits you better.
Can Nina host our reception too?
Yes. MC services start from $650, and she can host in English and Japanese. Live singing for moments such as the first dance is an available extra when the MC package is booked.
