About Compass Events Hire
Compass Events Hire is a family-owned exhibition specialist, with its head office at Main Beach on the Gold Coast. It works with event organisers, conference organisers and individual exhibitors, so this is a supplier for business events rather than private parties. The core product is the display booth. Aluminium-framed panels in silver or white are set out in one-metre steps, from a 3m x 1m site up to any larger layout, with a fascia, a power point, two LED spotlights and a name sign. Exhibitors can upgrade to full colour graphics and corporate, premium or designer furniture. The company designs and makes its own display equipment, which goes up without forklifts or construction and runs its cabling out of sight. Conference and expo AV is available with trained technicians, and organisers can choose long flat walls, free-standing sections or open-plan shapes for poster displays and delegate mixing. Outdoor events can be packaged with corporate marquees, flooring, generators and air conditioning through its supplier network. The team can also advise on planning, liaise with suppliers and help with graphic design and branded material. It carries $20 million public liability cover and WorkCover protection, which helps with an organiser's risk planning.

What comes with a standard display booth?
A standard shell scheme includes display panels sized to your site, a fascia, a 4 amp power point, two 25 watt LED spotlights and a single colour name sign.
Can booth sizes be changed?
Yes. Sizes move in one-metre steps, so a site can be 3m x 1m, 3m x 2m, 3m x 3m or a larger multiple to suit the floor plan.
Can we hang our own graphics on the panels?
Yes, but only with Velcro dots and strips. Adhesive staples, pins, screws and bolts are not allowed on the walls.
What file format is needed for printed signage?
Send vector artwork as AI, EPS or PDF, or failing that a high-resolution JPG. It should be CMYK with 5mm of bleed on all four sides and text converted to curves.
Can outdoor events be covered?
Yes. An exhibition display can be packaged with corporate marquees, integrated flooring, furniture, generators and air conditioning for outdoor business events.
