About Illuminated Event Hire
Illuminated Event Hire, formerly Illuminated Rentals, specialises in glowing furniture and dance floors for private parties and corporate events. It works from a showroom in Arundel on the Gold Coast, where visits are by appointment. The furniture runs on batteries and is controlled by remote, which means no leads to run or outlets to find. Each piece has 16 colours and several light functions, from a solid shade to flashing multi-colour, which makes it easy to match a theme or change the mood mid-party. The seating range includes small cubes, snake seats, round and bar stools, ghost stools, pod chairs and couch sections. For serving, there are glow bars with ice tubs or benches, round dry tables, coffee tables, ice buckets and ice chests. Floating spheres are on the list too. Corporate clients also have acrylic curved and straight bars, banquet and buffet tables, a welcome desk and clear Tiffany chairs. Four popular packages combine a bar or dry tables with stools and cubes, and any of them can be changed to suit. The 3D LED infinity dance floor can be hired for a party, wedding or corporate event. Graphics can be designed, printed and applied to the furniture for birthdays or company branding, and delivery, set-up and pack-down are available.

Do the pieces need power?
No. The bars and furniture are battery operated and remote controlled, so there are no cords to run, and they can be used both indoors and outdoors.
Can we choose the colours?
Yes. Each piece comes with a remote that selects from 16 colours and changes the light function, so you can match a theme or change it during the night.
Can a package be changed?
Yes. Pieces can be added to or removed from any of the four popular packages, or the team can build a custom package around your space and budget.
Can you deliver to a high-rise or venue?
Often, depending on the furniture being delivered. Stairs or lifts need a separate quote, and after-hours delivery or pick-up also carries an extra fee.
What if the furniture gets wet?
The pieces are made for outdoor use, but water can interfere with the lighting, so keep them dry. Equipment that fails from water damage while on hire is not refunded.
