About Add-On Hire
Add-On Hire is a family-owned marquee and party hire business operating from premises in Parkwood on the Gold Coast. It designs and makes its own certified marquees on site, replacing them every two to three years to keep the fabric clean and in good order. The marquee range is broad, starting at a 2m x 2m wedding canopy and moving through 3m, 3.5m, 4.5m and 6m wide options, up to a 10m wide structure and a 9m hexagonal marquee. Photos from the business show them over pools, on lawns, on beachfront decks and across sports grounds, some with pleated ceiling linings and chandeliers for receptions. The rest of the hire list covers what goes inside: chairs, tables, kids' tables and chairs, linen, table skirting and silk backdrops, chair covers and dry bar covers. There is also flooring, black dance floors, marquee lighting, heating, display hire, catering equipment, glassware, crockery, cutlery and bar accessories. Corporate events, weddings, parties and sporting events are the main work. Quotes are based on the venue, guest numbers, date and surface, whether grass or concrete, so have those details ready when you send an enquiry.

What does a self-erect price mean?
You supply the labour to help put up and take down the marquee, and a qualified Add-On Hire staff member supervises. Marquees up to 6m x 9m need one helper, and 6m x 12m to 6m x 18m need two.
Is there a deposit?
Yes, a $50 deposit is paid at booking, and it is refunded after the event as long as the equipment comes back clean.
When is the balance due?
Direct deposit or card payments are due in full two days before delivery. Cash or cheque can be paid on the day of delivery.
What happens if we cancel?
Cancelling the day before delivery costs 50% of the hire rate, and cancelling on the day of delivery costs the full hire rate.
Do you need to know the surface?
Yes, the quote form asks whether the marquee will sit on grass or concrete, as well as the venue, guest numbers and event date, so the team can price it accurately.
