About Platinum

MV Platinum comfortably hosts up to 22 passengers, making it a great choice for a more intimate gathering out on Sydney Harbour. The yacht features formal dining for up to 8 guests, with catering services on hand to take care of the food side of things. As a fully licensed vessel, Platinum gives you plenty of choice when it comes to food and drink, or you're welcome to bring your own to suit your taste and budget. A BBQ and hotplates are on board too, so casual grilling is always an option. Inside, fine teak and leather finishes create a warm, comfortable atmosphere, while the fully air-conditioned interior includes three bedrooms and two bathrooms, ideal for longer charters or overnight stays. The enclosed, air-conditioned flybridge delivers sweeping harbour views without the weather getting in the way, while the open-air and covered outdoor decks give guests the choice of sun or shade. Entertainment is well covered on board, with a modern surround sound system, DVD and CD players, iPod connectivity, a 40-inch TV, Xbox console and Wi-Fi throughout. When the day heats up, the swimming platform makes it easy to cool off with a dip straight from the boat.

Pricing

Charter rates for Platinum start from $495 per hour. Charters run for a minimum of 3 hours between February and October, while November and December require a minimum of 4 hours on Fridays and Saturdays, or 3 hours from Sunday to Thursday. Please note that pre-loading and decorating services are not available on this vessel.

Food

Platinum offers a range of catering choices, including banquet and buffet menus, canape and platter selections, and a BBQ menu using the onboard BBQ facility, plus formal table dining for up to 8 guests. If you'd rather sort your own catering, BYO food is welcome, with plates, cutlery and cups all provided for your convenience.

Beverages

As a fully licensed yacht, Platinum offers beverage packages to suit different tastes, or you can bring your own alcohol on board. Ice is provided for BYO drinks, along with cups, so all you need to worry about is your favourite bottle.

Wharfs & Availability

Platinum is available for charter every day of the week, though it's best to check real-time availability for your preferred date. Preferred boarding windows are 12pm-4pm, 1pm-5pm, 5pm-9pm or 6pm-1am, subject to availability.

Pickup is available from a wide range of wharfs around Sydney Harbour, with King St Wharf in the CBD being the most popular. Other options include Pier 26 and Cockle Bay Marina, Towns Place East, Walsh Bay, Casino Wharf, Campbells Cove and Commissioners Step in The Rocks, Eastern Pontoon and Harbour Masters Steps at Circular Quay, Ives Steps at Dawes Point, Man O War at Farm Cove, Woolloomooloo Bay Wharf (accessible by ladder only), Double Bay Wharf, Rose Bay Ferry Wharf, Pirrama Park in Pyrmont, Neutral Bay, Mosman Bay and Woolwich Wharf. All wharfs are subject to availability, and an extra $250 fee applies for pickups at Balmoral, Watsons Bay or The Spit. Please note the boat is unable to travel to Manly.
