About Photobooth Hire Sunshine Coast
Photobooth Hire Sunshine Coast is a husband-and-wife business run by Shanan Duckworth and Evan Richards, with a fleet of eight photo booths across three styles. All three styles share a live preview screen, studio lights and on-the-spot printing, so the choice comes down to the look you want. The open-air booths come in several finishes – Retrix, rustic, boutique, retro and black and white – and suit full-length group shots of up to 16 people as well as close-up selfies. They pair with velvet, sequin, printed fabric or hedge-wall backdrops, or with your own venue styling. The traditional booths are the classic sit-down kind with leather cushions and curtains in black, white, red or pink. They roll in on castors and plug straight in, fitting up to four people at once. The magic mirror is a large vintage-style framed mirror with a 65-inch touch screen, animations and voice prompts, and guests can sign their photos before they print. The team has supplied booths to weddings, milestone birthdays, gala dinners, school events and product launches, and staff hold blue cards for working with children. What is included in each package?
Every package covers unlimited use of the booth for the hours booked, a choice of traditional or open-air booth, two 2x6 photo strips printed each turn and a USB drive holding all the images.
How much space does each booth need?
An open-air booth needs about 1 x 1 m on its own, 3 x 2 m with a velvet backdrop or 3 x 3 m with the hedge wall. The traditional booth needs 2 x 1 m and the mirror about 1 x 2 m.
Can a booth go upstairs?
The open-air booths can be carried up flights of stairs. The traditional booth weighs about 170 kg and manages only up to three steps, and the mirror up to five, so those two need lift or ramp access.
Can the photo strips carry our logo or names?
Yes. For an extra $50 the strip can be customised with your own logo image or one of the company's print templates, which suits weddings, launches and business events.
Is overnight hire available?
Yes. The overnight package sets the booth up in the afternoon of your event and collects it the following morning, with unlimited use in between, for $1,050.
