About Andino Magician
Andino is a magician based on the Sunshine Coast who performs at corporate functions, weddings and private parties. He learned his craft by studying modern magicians and presents himself as an all-round entertainer, with a focus on clean material suited to mixed audiences. Most bookings use his close-up roving magic. He moves between groups of guests and performs sleight of hand at arm's length, so the effects happen in people's own hands. No stage or special room is needed, and it works at a cocktail-style function as well as a seated dinner. For larger groups or a tight timeline, he also performs a parlour or stage show that can be adjusted to suit the event. Clients have booked him for conferences, gala dinners, presentation nights, golf days, product launches and wedding receptions, and for smaller private parties with only a handful of guests. Businesses can also book a two-hour team-building workshop on confidence and showmanship. Participants watch magic, learn several tricks and practise performing them, and each person leaves with a deck of playing cards and written instructions. The workshop needs at least six attendees. Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between close-up magic and a stage show?
Close-up magic is performed among guests in small groups, with Andino roving through the room. A parlour or stage show is a set performance for everyone at once, which suits bigger groups and tighter schedules.
Do we need a stage or special set-up for roving magic?
No. Roving close-up magic needs no stage or particular venue, and it can be added to any function, whether guests are standing with drinks or seated at tables.
Is the magic suitable for a mixed audience?
Yes. Andino focuses on clean entertainment, which makes his material suitable for work functions, family-friendly parties and wedding receptions with guests of all ages.
How does the team-building workshop work?
It runs for 120 minutes with a minimum of six attendees. Staff watch magic, then learn and perform tricks while working on confidence and showmanship. Each participant receives a deck of cards and a PDF of instructions.
Can Andino perform at a small private party?
Yes. He performs for anything from an intimate get-together to a big company function with several hundred guests, and tailors the format to suit the group.
