About WAT Den Whisky & Tequila Bar
WAT Den is a cocktail bar on the Mooloolaba Esplanade, across the road from the beach, with a back bar built around whisky and tequila. Alongside walk-in drinks, its bartenders run hosted masterclasses that suit a birthday crew, a hens or bucks group, or colleagues looking for a team activity. The Cocktails History & Sips class opens with prosecco or beer, then spends 60 to 90 minutes on the story behind classic and modern drinks while the group tastes three cocktails. It takes from two to 25 guests at $95 each. A smaller hands-on Exclusive Class for up to 11 puts guests behind the bar to make three classics of their own. Whisky fans can book tutored tastings instead, from an $80 introduction to four styles through to a cask-finish session and an Old & Rare flight of older bottles. For a bigger gathering, the bar can set aside an intimate corner or a stand-up area for a corporate function, and the team shapes each booking around the group. Amazing Single malt collection. Traveled from Sydney and hands down the best bar in Sunshine Coast. Try and sit at the bar and you will see some of the best bartenders in action.
