About Spinners Bar & Bowl Caloundra
Spinners Bar & Bowl is a family-run ten pin bowling bar on Bulcock Street in Caloundra. It has five competition-standard lanes with glow lighting, large media screens and scoring software that shows bowler photos. Bumpers suit kids aged 12 and under, ramps are there for anyone who needs them, and lighter handle balls help older bowlers join in. Groups come here for birthdays from kids' parties to 50ths, along with engagement parties, anniversaries, corporate functions, Christmas parties and end-of-year celebrations. Food runs to freshly made pizzas, chips and finger food platters with meatballs, party pies, dim sims, prawn cutlets, spring rolls and mozzarella sticks. The bar is fully licensed with beer, wine, cider, spirits and premixed drinks, plus coffee. Away from the lanes there are pool tables, arcade games with a photo booth, big screen TVs, a dance floor and a music video jukebox. Each lane takes up to 12 bowlers, though four to six keeps a game moving. Bookings of three lanes or more in busy periods need a $10 per person deposit, and the whole venue can be hired privately, so send an enquiry with your date and numbers.

Frequently asked questions
How much does bowling cost?
An adult game is $18 and two games are $30, while under-18s pay $16 for one game or $27 for two. Friday and Saturday nights from 5pm are $20 for one game or $32 for two, shoe hire is $2, and public holidays carry a 15% surcharge.
How many people can bowl on one lane?
Up to 12 bowlers can share a lane, but four to six is the sweet spot. Allow roughly 10 minutes per bowler for a full game, so a lane of four takes about 40 minutes.
Do we need to pay a deposit for a group booking?
Kids' birthday parties need no deposit. Bookings of three lanes or more during busy periods need a $10 per person deposit, collected in the week before and not refunded for no-shows. Christmas party deposits are collected from November.
Can we bring our own food, drinks or a birthday cake?
Outside food and drinks are not allowed because the venue is fully licensed. A birthday cake is the exception, with a cakeage charge of $2 per person, and ice cream cake can be ordered from the venue on request.
What footwear do bowlers need?
Bowling shoes can be hired for $2, or you can wear your own sports shoes with non-marking soles. Boots, thongs, sandals, Crocs and other non-sporting footwear are not allowed on the lanes.
