About Thunderbird Park
Thunderbird Park is an outdoor adventure destination on Tamborine Mountain, set in the rainforest and bushland of Tamborine Mountain Glades. There is no entry fee, as you only pay for the activities you choose, and each one is run and priced separately. The choice for groups is broad. It runs from jungle laser skirmish battles and a nine-hole adventure mini golf course to the TreeTop Challenge high ropes, the Canyon Flyer ziplines and thunderegg fossicking. Birthday groups choose their activities, then book a table at The Edge, an open-air space above Cedar Creek. Each table seats about 10 for two hours, and you can bring a cake and decorations, with meals ordered from the Terrace Cafe. Younger kids can try Dig IT or TreeTop Juniors. For company groups, facilitators shape team-building programs around the group's goals, abilities and fitness. A Dig IT session gives teams of at least 20 two hours of exclusive access, with 1.7-tonne mini excavators, safety instructors and GoPro footage. Larger events can use the Tamborine Mountain Glades venues, which handle conferences, retreats and celebrations such as anniversaries, engagement parties and baby showers. Catering and on-site accommodation can be added, so send an enquiry to start planning.

Frequently asked questions
Is there an entry fee at Thunderbird Park?
No, the grounds are free to enter and you pay only for the activities you pick. Advance booking is strongly recommended for most activities, though mini golf takes walk-ins.
How does a birthday table at The Edge work?
Table hire is $75 for two hours and each table suits 10 guests, or 12 at a squeeze. Bring a cake and decorations, but other outside food and drinks are not allowed.
What does the Dig IT team-building package include?
It costs $70 for each participant with a minimum of 20. You get two hours of exclusive site access, safety instructors, a tailored program and GoPro footage of the session.
Can we bring our own picnic?
No, BYO picnics are not allowed in the park. Meals are available at the Terrace Cafe and the Rainforest Restaurant, and birthday groups can pre-order so food is ready on time.
What should players wear for mini golf, and can kids play?
Enclosed shoes are required because the course has uneven, landscaped ground. All ages are welcome, and children under 12 need adult supervision while they play.
