About Game Over Gold Coast
Game Over Gold Coast is an indoor entertainment complex in Helensvale built around a 200m electric go kart track. Adults aged 13 and over race up to 14 laps, juniors aged seven to 12 race up to 10, and a two-seater duo kart joins the adult races. Beyond the track, the venue has a laser tag arena, Clip'n Climb walls, a nine-hole mini golf course and an arcade. That spread helps with a mixed group, since people can move between attractions while others wait for their heat. Company groups of eight or more can pick from packages that combine races, laser tag, mini golf and climbing with catering. The largest options use a VIP room with track views. Christmas functions can scale from 8 to 400 people, and packages for that season run from October to December. Bucks and hens groups can choose multiple races or a kart and laser tag combination, with custom packages and catering available on request. Alcohol is sold on site, but it is only for after the karting is finished. Kids' birthday packages need at least eight guests. They include a reserved party table, hot or healthy party food, drinks and a printed run sheet, and you can bring a cake and your own decorations. How many people can race at once at Game Over Gold Coast?
Up to eight karts run on the track at a time. Online bookings for larger groups are split across several races, so everyone gets a turn on the circuit.
What are the age and height limits for the karts?
Adult karts need riders aged 13 or over and at least 150cm tall, with a 150kg weight limit. Junior karts are for ages seven to 12, at least 120cm tall and up to 75kg.
What should we wear for go karting?
Closed heel and toe shoes are required, so sandals and thongs are not allowed. Wear comfortable clothes, and note that a helmet and safety briefing are provided with every race.
Can we drink at the venue?
Yes, the venue is licensed, but alcohol is only for after karting is complete. Drinking beforehand also rules you out of laser tag and Clip'n Climb, so plan the bar for the end of your visit.
What is included in a kids' birthday party?
