Stapylton's DIY Invasion is the region's hosted paint and sip studio, a family-run space at Christensen Road. It is a craft room rather than a bar with easels, so the evening depends on what your group brings along.

What Stapylton offers a group from around the north:

Private sessions begin at eight guests, up to 50, on a date and time your group chooses.
Plan for around three hours, with a host guiding the painting.
Pricing is From $60 per person, with materials and aprons supplied.
BYO drinks and nibbles keep control of catering with you, though platters and snack boxes can be added.
