About The Wedding Project
The Wedding Project is for couples who have planned their own wedding and want someone else to run it on the day. It works across Brisbane with three fixed packages: a coordinator who steps in a month before, a set-up crew for your decor, and a personal assistant for the couple and bridal party. The coordinator package starts four weeks out with a 60-minute virtual session built around the company's own wedding checklist, which becomes your run sheet. A second session follows a week later, then the coordinator confirms bump-in times and details with every vendor and the venue. Email support is unlimited through the lead-up. On the wedding day the coordinator spends eight hours on site, overseeing vendor arrivals, checking table settings, seating and bonbonniere, managing the ceremony with the celebrant and musicians, moving flowers to the reception where needed, and cueing the MC, DJ and photographers for the bridal party entrance. The set-up service suits couples who already have their decor and a clear plan. Two assistants lay out centrepieces, runners, the bridal table, gift and cake tables and the entrance styling, with ceremony set-up and pack-down available as add-ons. The personal assistant looks after errands, drinks for the bridal party, music requests and small finishing touches alongside an existing coordinator.

How long is the coordinator at the wedding?
The coordinator package includes eight hours on site. Extra time beyond those eight hours is charged at $85 per hour, as listed with the package pricing.
Does the set-up service include styling or decor hire?
No. The set-up crew places the decor, centrepieces, place cards and table items you already have, following a detailed set-up list you send three weeks before the wedding.
Can we add ceremony set-up to the reception set-up package?
Yes. Ceremony set-up – a simple arch, chairs and aisle runner, flowers, candles and the registry table – is a $250 add-on, and ceremony pack-down is a further $150.
What does the wedding day personal assistant do?
The assistant supports the couple and bridal party with errands, drinks, music requests and small personal touches. It works alongside a coordinator or set-up team you have already booked.
