Suite Events is a full-service Brisbane event company founded by Ali Steffan, who has a background in music and performance. With 15 years in the local event scene, the team looks after corporate events, building activations and private celebrations using a network of local venues and suppliers. Its services fall into four parts: plan, style, deliver and activate. Planning covers concepts, budgets, timelines, run sheets and supplier coordination. Styling shapes the room through layout, colour and visual details. Delivery means overseeing bump-in, staff and on-site operations so that the event runs smoothly. For companies, end-of-year functions are a large part of the work, from long lunches and cocktail nights to whole-of-company Christmas parties. The team sources the venue, arranges food and drinks, and brings in entertainment and styling. Office buildings also use Suite Events for foyer activations tied to dates such as Christmas, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day and R U OK? Day, shaped around the building's values and tenant experience. Past activations have included gingerbread workshops and themed pop-ups. Private clients are limited to a select number each year, allowing more time on each event. These include milestone birthdays, styled children's birthdays, engagements, anniversaries and micro weddings. Corporate gifting, themed favours, DJs and live musicians can be added. Suite Events starts with your vision, then develops the concept, budget, timeline and run sheet. It sources the venue, catering, florals, styling, entertainment, furniture hire and staff through its supplier network. On the day it oversees bump-in, staff and on-site operations until the event wraps up.
