About Mivida Events and Entertainment
Mivida Events and Entertainment is a Brisbane entertainment agency that started out with a love of Latin and Caribbean performance and has grown to supply entertainers of many kinds. It works with corporate clients, conventions, couples planning a wedding, and venues that need regular entertainment programming. Dancers are the heart of the offer. Brazilian carnival performers, Cuban salsa acts, African dancers and drummers, flamenco shows with dancers and musicians, and showgirls with wings, LED pieces or fans can all be booked. For a roving feel, the agency supplies stilt walkers, jugglers, mimes, rollerskaters, hula hoop acts and fire twirlers. Music comes in every size. Options range from a solo guitarist or pianist through duos, trios and quartets to small and large bands, covering Latin, jazz, soul, funk, pop, country and classical. DJs can work alone or with a percussionist, a saxophonist, a vocalist or podium dancers, and sound equipment can be organised if your event needs it. Themes are a big part of how events come together here. Havana nights, a Rio carnival, Gatsby, French Riviera, Hollywood, Mexican, Spanish and festive programs are all listed, and Christmas brings its own roving performers. For a large event running over a weekend or several days, the agency can design a custom show or a whole entertainment program. Send an enquiry with your theme and date, and it will suggest acts that suit.
