Birthday Party Venues in Brisbane CBD

Choosing the Right Birthday Party Venue

Private floors are the theme of a CBD birthday, whether high above Queen Street or down at the water. Most of these six are exclusive hires, so the real questions are headcount, outlook and how food and drink are handled.

Six Brisbane CBD birthday venues by setting:

Thirty-two floors up: The Grove Rooftop's glass room and fairy-lit deck take a 300-guest party, from $2,500 room hire.
Moody lounge: Club Felix keeps a dim, plush upstairs floor for events only, with a piano by the bar and space for 140.
Laneway hideaway: The Little Laneway's chandelier-lit upper level suits a birthday dinner of 120, and drinks are BYO.
Lower-cost room: Patch eSpace starts from $650 room hire, with its own bar, a dance floor and a disco ball as an add-on.
Riverfront: Bougainvillea House and Babylon Brisbane both look across the river to the Story Bridge.

Babylon Brisbane serves Middle Eastern set menus from $90 per person and welcomes celebration cakes with no cakeage fee. Bougainvillea House cuts and serves your cake for a small charge.

Under 20: Babylon's gold-finished Kasr room seats 14 for a private dinner.
Around 60: the curtained back room at Club Felix, Behind the Curtain, takes 60 seated or standing.
Around 150: Bougainvillea House holds 150 standing or 70 seated, with a wrap-around veranda.
300 to 400: The Grove Rooftop takes 300, and the whole of Babylon Gardens holds 400 standing.

The Little Laneway gives both of its levels and on-the-day coordination, with photography as an extra.
