About Club Felix @ Naldham House
Naldham House is a heritage-listed building on the corner of Mary and Felix Streets in the Brisbane CBD, close to the riverwalk and the Eagle Street dining strip. Built in 1864 for a steamship company, it now holds a European brasserie, an open-air terrace, a Cantonese restaurant and an event floor. Club Felix fills the whole first floor. It is a dimly lit cocktail lounge with rich fabrics, heritage windows, a balcony facing Felix Street and a central bar with a baby grand piano beside it. Booked exclusively, it holds 140 standing or 100 at banquet tables, or 90 seated once a dancefloor or DJ booth goes in. Heavy curtains can split the floor into the Heritage Bar, for about 70 standing, and a back room called Behind the Curtain for about 60. Food comes from the house kitchens. Cocktail functions choose from canapé packages with substantial and sweet items, while seated events share European or Cantonese banquets. Drinks can run on consumption, as a bar tab or as a cash bar, with a function wine list chosen by the bottle. The floor has its own bathrooms, air conditioning, a roving microphone and PA, a projector and screen, and Wi-Fi. Minimum spends are set by date and time, and half of the agreed amount confirms the booking. Events on a Sunday or public holiday carry a 15% surcharge.
