About The Grove Rooftop

The Grove Rooftop is a private-hire event space on level 32 of 480 Queen Street in the Brisbane CBD. Only booked events use it, so your group has the floor to itself, with views across the city, the river and the Story Bridge. The venue has two parts. A glass-walled indoor room with air conditioning and a retractable wall opens straight onto an outdoor deck, which is lined with trees strung with fairy lights. Together the room and deck take up to 300 guests, and furniture is supplied to suit seated dinners or cocktail-style parties. Wedding ceremonies can be held out on the terrace with chairs for up to 100, and there is an indoor option if the weather turns. Catering comes from the on-site commercial kitchen, covering banquets, buffets, canapés, grazing tables and dessert stations. Wedding menus start at $185 per person for two courses with canapés on arrival, and a standard drinks package is included in that price. A portable bar handles drinks packages, while spirits and cocktails can be added on a bar tab. The AV setup runs indoor and outdoor speakers, up to four microphones, a projector and a drop-down screen, and free wifi is available. Exclusive hire of the whole venue starts at $2,500, and a minimum spend applies to functions. An event coordinator looks after the day itself; send an enquiry to check dates and plan your event.
