About The Little Laneway
The Little Laneway occupies two upper floors of a restored heritage building on Burnett Lane in the Brisbane CBD. Queen Street Mall and Central Station are close by, and guests can arrive by train, bus or rideshare. Level 1 is the ceremony room, a bright space with tall arched windows and soft lighting that seats about 40 for vows. Level 2 is the reception room, laid out for dining and dancing, with a chandelier and a bar. For a seated reception the venue takes up to 120 guests, or up to 170 standing for cocktails. At the other end of the scale, elopements and micro weddings run for as few as two people. Food comes from the in-house kitchen and catering team, with menus across several cuisines. Drinks are BYO, poured by licensed, RSA-trained staff, which helps keep the bar bill down. Weddings and corporate events can be booked on any day of the week, while elopements and micro weddings run Monday to Wednesday. Bookings include use of both levels and on-the-day coordination, and styling, photography and videography can be added. Alongside weddings, the team runs work functions and Christmas parties, plus birthday dinners, engagements, baby showers and farewells. A free 30-minute tour is the easiest way to see both floors before deciding.
