Catalyst is a spacious catamaran built for relaxed days and nights on Sydney Harbour, catering for up to 20 guests. The indoor cabin is fitted with cushioned seating for those wanting shade or a quieter spot, while the rear deck offers extra seating so everyone can enjoy the harbour views. A standout feature is the front netting, which lets guests lean out over the water and feel the sea spray when the boat is under sail, a great option for the more adventurous on board. Onboard, you'll find a BBQ for self-catering, a Bluetooth-enabled sound system for your own playlist, and rear deck lighting that keeps evening charters going strong after dark. A push-button toilet rounds out the practical comforts. Pricing

Charters on Catalyst start from $330 per hour, with a minimum booking length of 4 hours. Guests may pre-arrange to drop food and drinks at Lavender Bay directly before the charter begins, but not earlier, so it pays to plan your drop-off timing with the operator in advance.

Food

Catalyst comes with an onboard BBQ facility, and guests can choose from a BBQ menu or bring their own food to cook and share. Table dining is set up onboard, making it easy to sit down together over a meal while cruising.

Beverages

Drinks are BYO, with ice and eskies supplied on board to keep everything cold. Guests just need to bring their own cups along with their preferred drinks.

Wharfs & Availability

Catalyst operates every day of the week, with charters running for a minimum of 4 hours. Daytime cruises are preferably scheduled between 12pm and 4pm, and evening cruises between 5.30pm and 9.30pm, though these times can flex depending on availability, so it's worth checking the real-time calendar or enquiring directly.

Lavender Bay is the preferred pickup point, with King St Wharf in the CBD the most popular alternative. Other available wharves include Aquarium Wharf, Pyrmont Park, Towns Place, Ives Steps at Dawes Point, Rushcutters Bay and Rose Bay, all subject to availability, and additional wharves can be arranged on request with possible extra fees. Catalyst is unable to pick up or drop off at Woolloomooloo, Circular Quay or The Rocks.
