What's Kraken brings the stability and open deck space of a catamaran together with a genuinely flexible catering setup, making it a great pick for groups who want to build their own harbour experience. With room for 20 guests, there's plenty of space to move between table dining, deck lounging and taking in the view. The onboard BBQ facility means you can go casual with a self-catered cookout or order in a BBQ or canape menu, while the BYO food and drinks policy gives you full control over your budget and menu. Cups, plates and cutlery are all provided, so the only thing left to sort is what you're bringing aboard. With pick-up options across the harbour, from the CBD to Balmain and the eastern suburbs, and charter blocks built around popular daytime and evening slots, What's Kraken suits everything from a relaxed afternoon cruise to an evening party on the water.

Charters on What's Kraken start from $325 per hour with a minimum booking of 4 hours. If you'd like the boat pre-loaded or decorated ahead of your guests boarding, this can be arranged on request, subject to availability and additional fees.

Food

What's Kraken gives you plenty of catering flexibility. The boat comes with an onboard BBQ facility, so you can choose a BBQ menu or bring your own food to cook and serve as you like. A canape and platter menu is also available if you'd prefer something more relaxed, and table dining is set up for those wanting a sit-down feel. Plates and cutlery are provided for any BYO food.

Beverages

Drinks on board are BYO only, so bring along whatever you and your guests would like to enjoy. Cups are provided, and you'll also need to bring your own ice for the esky.

Wharfs & Availability

What's Kraken is available for charter every day, though it's best to check the real-time calendar or enquire directly to lock in your date. Every cruise runs for a minimum of 4 hours, with preferred time slots of 12pm to 4pm and 5pm to 9pm, or 1pm to 5pm and 6pm to 10pm.

Pick-up is available from a wide range of wharves around the harbour, including King St Wharf in the CBD (the most popular option), Aquarium Wharf, Towns Place Wharf, Elizabeth McArthur Pontoon in Pyrmont, Lavender Bay, Mosman Bay Wharf, Rose Bay, Yarranabee Park Pontoon, Double Bay, Yeend St in Balmain, Rozelle and Birkenhead Ferry Wharf. All wharves are subject to availability, and other locations can be arranged on request with additional fees possibly applying. Please note the vessel is unable to pick up from Circular Quay or The Rocks.
