About HAPY Studio
HAPY Studio is an aerial arts school in Currumbin that teaches silks, hoop, trapeze, straps and hammock to people from toddlers through to seniors. Alongside its weekly classes, the studio opens its aerial room to private groups for hens days, bridal showers, team building and children's birthdays. A private session suits people who have never left the ground. Everything begins low, so guests can try shapes and small lifts on the silks before deciding how far up they want to go. Fitness level is not a barrier, and neither is a worry about heights. Hens and bridal groups can bring up to 20 adults for a shared challenge at the start of the day. Team sessions run for 60 minutes and can open with warm-ups or partner acrobatics, move to the silks, and finish by joining individual skills into one group routine. The studio pitches this around trust and communication, and it can tailor the activity to the team. Kids' parties take up to 16 children aged 5 and over for one hour of warm-up games, aerial shapes and a cool down. Families can add an hour in the waiting room for self-catered party food, cake and presents. Send an enquiry with your group size and preferred time, and the studio can look at what is available.

Frequently asked questions
How many people can join a private hens or team session?
Adult groups can be up to 20 people. The minimum booking fee covers up to 8, and extra guests are added one at a time up to that limit.
What does a private group session cost?
The minimum fee is $264 for up to 8 people, then $33 for each extra person. A 50% deposit holds the date and the balance is due 7 days before the event.
Do we need aerial experience or strength?
No. All abilities and fitness levels are catered for, and every activity begins at floor level before moving higher, so a fear of heights or a lack of strength is not a problem.
How old do children need to be for an aerial birthday party?
The minimum age is 5, with up to 16 children at a party. Sessions run for an hour and skills are matched to what the children in the room can manage.
Can we bring food to a kids' party?
Yes, on the two-hour option. It adds an hour in the waiting room, where families set up their own food, cake and drinks, with a table, seating and a small bar fridge provided.
