About Magical Ponies
Magical Ponies is a family-style pony party business run by Lisa, a Gold Coast local and licensed racehorse trainer, with help from Danielle, a dressage rider. It began with a couple of ponies and now has 12, in a mix of miniature, Shetland and Welsh mountain breeds. All of them travel to you, so the party stays at your place. Each pony comes dressed to suit the theme. Unicorn parties come with a special mane on request, and there are princess, pirate, rainbow and superhero looks too. Parents can browse the herd and choose: Cuddles is a white Welsh pony used for unicorn parties, and Smarty can bow, count and lie down on cue. Two donkeys, Spartan and Teddy, can also be hired. Every ride is led and supervised by a handler, helmets are provided, and the ponies are vaccinated. The team takes children from age one to twelve, boys and girls alike, and the business is fully insured. It does not need a large area, only decent access and parking. Gold Coast parks can work too, with council approval that the team can help you arrange. Extras include a 30-minute grooming and decorating session before a morning party, and a show-and-tell talk covering horse food, teeth and farrier tools. A wet weather refund policy takes some of the worry out of planning.

How much room do we need for a pony party?
Magical Ponies does not need a large area, but it does need good access and parking for the ponies. Send your location with your enquiry and the team can advise on your space.
Can we hold the pony party in a Gold Coast park?
Yes, Gold Coast parks are possible, but council approval is required. The team can help you with that, so mention the park you have in mind when you enquire.
What ages can ride the ponies?
The ponies cater to girls and boys aged one to twelve. Each ride is led and supervised by a handler, and safety helmets are provided for the children.
How do we get a unicorn pony?
Ask for one when you book. A pony with a unicorn mane costs $50 extra, and white ponies such as Cuddles are often used for unicorn parties.
What happens if it rains on the day?
