Hotel West End is a bistro, bar and gaming pub on Browning Street in South Brisbane, in the lively inner-city West End precinct. Alongside its bistro, terrace and lounge areas, it has a private function room on the first floor called The Stellar Room. The Stellar Room is a self-contained space reached by stairs or lift. It has its own bar, its own terrace and its own restrooms, so your group can celebrate without sharing facilities with the main pub. The room holds up to 160 guests for a cocktail party or 100 seated. That range covers a big birthday, an engagement, a graduation celebration or a corporate event. Smaller groups have options downstairs. The Alcove Lounge is a semi-private ground-floor area for up to 50 standing or 35 seated, the Terrace is a casual outdoor space near the main bar, and Planter's Bistro can be set up for 60 standing or 150 seated. The kitchen serves modern Australian dishes and pub classics, and the events team will talk you through catering options for your function. The pub pours 17 beers on tap plus wines, spirits, cocktails and mocktails. Did not stay, just went for a meal. The Parma (parmy for the locals) was one of the best o have had in a long time. Standard pub bistro seating, staff were very helpful.
