About The Terrace Rooftop Bar
The Terrace Rooftop Bar is the open-air top floor of Emporium Hotel South Bank, at 267 Grey Street in South Brisbane. It trades as a public rooftop bar from late morning on weekdays and from breakfast on weekends, and is also booked for private events. The space is open-air, with mirrored facades, a green wall and wide views across Brisbane. It is set up to work in every season, by day or after dark. Private events here are cocktail style, for 40 to 150 guests. You can reserve a semi-private area, or take the whole rooftop on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. Daytime events run from 12pm to 4pm and evening events from 6pm to 10pm, and each needs a minimum spend on food and drinks. Canapé menus are tailored to the event, alongside premium drinks packages and bespoke cocktails. The Terrace also hosts wedding receptions with exclusive use of the rooftop for up to 180 guests. Packages start from $250 per person and cover bespoke menus, designer furniture and a night in one of the hotel's suites, with long-banquet or cocktail layouts and a lunch option that finishes by 3pm.
