About Slipstream Brewing
Slipstream Brewing runs its brewery, bar and kitchen from a warehouse on Wilkie Street in Yeerongpilly, on Brisbane's southside. The beer is made on site, so the stainless-steel tanks are part of the room, and Yeerongpilly train station is about 200 metres away. Functions are taken for groups of 30 or more, and there are three areas to choose from. The setting is casual and industrial, with high steel roof trusses, timber tables and plenty of greenery. The Beer Garden is an open-air space that holds 60 seated or up to 80 standing, suited to long afternoons that carry on into the evening. The Indoor Dining area takes 30 to 40 seated or up to 60 standing and has a TV screen for slideshows or speeches. The Indoor Brewery space sits right beside the tanks and suits stand-up events, with room for 20 to 30 seated or 40 standing. It can be booked from Friday evening through to Sunday. Function food is served as platters built on the kitchen's most-ordered dishes, which run from wood-fired pizza and smoked BBQ to burgers and share plates. The bar pours twenty beers on tap alongside wine, spirits, cider and cocktails, with gluten-free and alcohol-free beers available. The venue names birthdays, engagement parties and corporate events among the functions it hosts. Send an enquiry with your date and numbers and the functions manager will come back with options.

How many guests can Slipstream Brewing hold for a function?
The Beer Garden takes up to 80 standing or 60 seated. Indoor Dining holds up to 60 standing or 40 seated, and the Indoor Brewery area up to 40 standing or 30 seated.
What is the minimum group size for a function?
Function bookings start at 30 guests. Smaller groups can make an ordinary table booking instead, which is held for two hours.
When can the brewery-side area be booked?
The Indoor Brewery space, next to the working tanks, is available from Friday evening through to Sunday. The other areas can be discussed with the functions manager for your preferred date.
Can we bring our own cake?
Yes. If the venue supplies plates and cutlery a cakeage charge of $2 per person applies, or you can bring your own disposable plates and forks instead.
Is there parking, and can we get there by train?
Free parking is available on site and in the surrounding streets. Yeerongpilly train station is about 200 metres from the door.
