About Forest Lake Tavern
Forest Lake Tavern is the neighbourhood pub on Forest Lake Boulevard, with a bistro serving pub classics and char-grilled steaks, a sports bar with a big screen and a relaxed, no-fuss feel. It sets out to be an easy place to mark the big moments with family and friends. There are two areas for functions. The Clubhouse Bar is a dedicated indoor room for groups who want a space to themselves, taking up to 120 standing or 80 seated. The Alfresco Deck is a covered outdoor area opening off the restaurant, which can be reserved in full. It holds up to 150 standing or 80 seated and suits daytime celebrations. The tavern names milestone birthdays, family get-togethers, engagement parties and weddings among the functions it hosts, as well as corporate gatherings. Both spaces can be set up for a sit-down meal or a stand-up party. Function food comes as share platters. Choices include sandwiches, an Oriental platter of wontons, spring rolls and samosas, an Aussie party platter, hot or cold seafood, a mixed pizza platter and a skewer platter of chicken, lamb and beef.
