About Cherbon Waters
Cherbon Waters is a privately owned garden venue in Burbank on Brisbane's southside, set on the edge of the Leslie Harrison Reservoir. It was built for weddings, so the ceremony, photos and reception can all happen on the one property. Ceremonies take place in a covered gazebo at the water's edge, with seating for guests, a registry table and a Bluetooth sound system. Couples get private use of the lakeside gardens, which take in sweeping lawns, native bush, gum trees and a hibiscus-lined bridal walkway. Receptions are held in a permanent marquee lined with silk, with chandeliers, a sandstone floor and bar, and a large timber dance floor. It looks out over Reflection Cove, which is lit up after dark. The marquee seats up to 160 at round tables or 200 at long tables, and it can be extended for up to 320 guests at extra cost. Every menu is four courses, starting with canapés served on the lawn, followed by entrée, main, dessert, then tea and coffee. Vegetarian, vegan and allergy needs are catered for, and there is a dedicated Indian wedding menu with street food, curries, biryani and naan. The venue is BYO for drinks, with glassware and bar staff included in the booking. The marquee has a full sound system and a wireless microphone for speeches, and bands or DJs set up inside. As well as weddings, the venue hosts school formals, birthdays and wedding anniversaries. Free parking is on site for the event. Send an enquiry to arrange a private viewing.

How many guests can the marquee hold?
Up to 160 guests at round tables or 200 at rectangular tables. The marquee can be extended to take up to 320 guests, which costs extra.
Can we bring our own drinks?
Yes, Cherbon Waters is BYO. Your drinks are delivered cold on the morning of the event, and the venue supplies glassware and bar staff. Ice needs to be supplied with the drinks.
Can we book only the ceremony?
Yes. A garden ceremony package gives you the gardens and gazebo to yourselves for two and a half hours. If you book a reception, garden hire is part of the booking.
Do you cater for dietary needs?
Yes. Vegetarian, vegan and allergy requirements are catered for when the venue is told in advance, and fully vegan menus are available. There is also an Indian wedding menu.
Is there music and a microphone for speeches?
The gazebo has a Bluetooth sound system, and the marquee has a full sound system with a wireless microphone and a lectern if you want one. Bands and DJs set up in the marquee, and volume has to stay within local noise limits.

All turned out well inthe end;however, access on the day was restricted due to staff shortages and some confusion with the alcohol supply with misplaced stock.
