About Newnham Hotel
The Newnham Hotel is a suburban pub on Newnham Road in Upper Mount Gravatt, with a sports bar, bistro, beer garden and gaming room. Its function offer is spread across eleven separate areas, so groups from a dozen people to a couple of hundred can find a fit. Indoors, the Delavan Suite holds 80 standing or 60 seated and suits receptions, engagement parties and anniversary dinners. The Gelding Room sits beside the bistro with its own outside access for up to 40, while the Foundry Room has a private entrance and takes about 20. Outside, the beer garden can be booked as a whole for up to 150 guests or split into upper, lower, picnic and chess-set sections for smaller groups. The covered Terrace Deck and the Playground Deck each hold around 50, and the bistro itself can be taken over for up to 200. Food comes from the pub kitchen, with cold, hot and sweet canapé packages from $28 per person for four pieces.
