About Mansfield Tavern
Mansfield Tavern is a big local pub on Wecker Road in Mansfield, on Brisbane's southside. It pairs a sports bar, bistro and beer garden with The Arena next door, a live music room that has been running since the 1970s. The bistro is a bright, plant-filled room with high ceilings and long tables. It splits into a left section for 40 and a right section for 60, and the two combine into a private space for up to 100 guests. Outside, the beer garden section takes about 70 people standing or 50 seated, with a mix of shaded and open-air tables. A semi-private area beside the outdoor playground holds another 50. The Arena is the big room on site, fitted with professional staging, concert sound, lighting, a large LED screen and projectors. The function pack puts it at 450 seated or 1,000 standing, and it has its own bar and backstage area. Food comes as share platters, buffets or a set alternate drop menu. The roast carvery buffet is $49 per person, a bespoke buffet is $59, and two or three plated courses run from $61 to $73 per person. Drinks can be set up as a standard, premium or deluxe package for two to four hours, a bar tab with a limit you choose, or a cash bar. Are drinks packages available?
Yes. For 30 or more guests there are standard, premium and deluxe packages, starting at $43 per person for two hours. You can also run a bar tab with a set limit, add spirits or an arrival cocktail, or let guests buy their own drinks.
Does the pub host 18th and 21st birthday parties?
The pub hosts 21st birthdays but says it is not the right fit for 18ths. Hens and bucks parties are welcome as long as there are no entertainers and the decorations stay family-friendly.
Can we bring a cake and our own decorations?
Yes. Cakes and decorations can be brought in and there is no cakeage fee. The kitchen can cater for vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free guests if you let the team know ahead of time.

Food is always nice. Generous portion, good price. Ambience is good, very spacious, do not feel cramped. This time we have Parmi and Sausage. Love the Fish Taco in last trip. Guinness on tap was a pleasant surprise.
