About The Kairos
The Kairos is a Robina business built around keepsakes from a celebration. Its founder, Rowena Roque, spent almost eight years overseas as a wedding coordinator and photographer before returning to events, and much of the styling comes as part of the hire. There are two booths to choose between. The Heritage is a crafted timber booth on a tripod stand, paired with its own backdrop, décor and props for a vintage look. The Mirror is a tall reflective booth with a more glamorous feel, again arriving with props and décor chosen to suit it. The team turns up about an hour ahead to set up, style and test, then an attendant remains with the booth until the booking ends. Guests can take as many photos as they like, each printed on the spot inside the signature Kairos frame. You later receive digital copies through a private download link, and packing down is covered. Hire runs for three, four or five hours, and a video guestbook can be paired with either booth if you would also like to hear messages from your guests. The Kairos names weddings, engagements, birthdays and corporate events as its main work. The package price covers the trip for any venue up to 50 km from Robina, which takes in most of the Gold Coast.
