About Putt Putt Mermaid Beach
Putt Putt Mermaid Beach, established in 1969, sits on the Gold Coast Highway. It has three themed 18-hole courses: Fun Run, with motorised obstacles and a fully covered layout, Jungle Trail, among garden hideaways and animal characters, and Waterways, with a lagoon, waterfalls and evening light displays. Groups of 10 or more can reserve group rates for one course or unlimited games, then add food and drinks. Christmas packages add a reserved event space, a party host and a winner's prize. The event space, called the Jungle Retreat, sits under a large pergola. Birthday packages cover kids, teens and adults, with a minimum of 8 guests and no deposit. Each includes mini golf, a refreshment, a reserved party area and your guest of honour's name on the birthday sign. Younger guests can have a hosted children's package with a snack box, and evening groups can try a twilight glow party with glow balls and bracelets. The courses are licensed, so beer, cider and frozen margaritas can come with you for the round. There is also a video game arcade and a pizza menu, plus barbecues you can book. The centre is open seven days from 9am to 10pm, with free parking on site. Send an enquiry to check your date.

What do group rates cost?
For 10 or more players, adults pay $19 for one course or $22 for unlimited games. Children and concession players pay $15 or $18. A reservation is required.
What is included in a birthday party package?
The standard package includes one course of mini golf, a refreshment, a reserved party area, the name on a birthday sign and a birthday card. Adults pay $24 and children or students $20.
What happens if it rains?
All 18 holes on the Fun Run course are covered, and the party room and arcade are inside the clubhouse. If severe weather makes it unsafe, a party can be postponed or cancelled.
Can we bring our own food and cake?
You can bring snacks, food to cook on the barbecues (booking required) and your own birthday cake. Outside commercial food is not allowed. A pizza menu is also available.
Do we need final numbers and a deposit when booking?
No deposit is needed, and an estimate of numbers is enough at first. The team confirms numbers up to 3 days before, and you pay for those attending, with a minimum charge of 8 guests.

Went back here after going 10 odd years ago and place is still in good shape, fun for a weekend activity if your nearby, pretty cheap for 3 rounds of putt putt! Parking is plentiful being right next to the tavern.
