About Magic Hens
Magic Hens is the hens party arm of Magic Men Entertainment, and its Gold Coast service centres on private bookings. Rather than taking your group out to a show, it can send male entertainers and topless waiters to your door, so the celebration happens at a home or a venue you have already chosen. There are several ways to put a booking together. You can have just an entertainer, just a waiter, both at once, or hand over the planning with a full hens package. A solo show typically runs for 15 to 20 minutes with a chance for photos afterwards, and you decide beforehand how far the performance goes. Two entertainers can arrive one after the other or perform back to back. Topless waiters stay for longer, usually two or three hours, and do more than carry trays. They serve food and drinks, take photos, host party games and lend a hand with setting up, which leaves the bridesmaids free to join in. The team knows that each group has different limits and asks that these are talked through in advance, so it is worth checking with the bride-to-be first. Can the entertainers come to a private home?
Yes. Home visits are a core part of the service, with male entertainers, topless waiters and hens packages all able to come to your door instead of your group travelling to a venue.
How long does a show last?
A single entertainer usually performs for 15 to 20 minutes and stays for a photo opportunity afterwards. Booking two entertainers extends the total show time to between 30 and 40 minutes.
What does a topless waiter do at a hens party?
Waiters are generally booked for two or three hours. They serve food and drinks, take photos, run games and help with setting up, so the organisers can relax and enjoy the party.
Do we need to organise music?
Not for the main event. Each entertainer sorts out the music for his own show, although a playlist of songs the bride-to-be loves is still handy for the rest of the party.
Can we set boundaries for the performance?
Yes. You choose beforehand whether the show is full or partial, and the performers are expected to respect the wishes of the group and the bride-to-be throughout the booking.
