About A-Leap Castle Hire
A-Leap Castle Hire is a three-person family team on the Gold Coast that hires jumping castles for kids' birthdays. Cassidy started the business, Talitha looks after enquiries and bookings, and her brother Lawrence plans the routes and does the set-ups, so the person you message is part of the team that turns up. The range runs across small, medium and large castles. Small ones have slides built in and fit most yards, larger ones suit a bigger crowd of kids, and the wet slide combos are made for warm days. Themed banners can be added to suit the party, from superheroes to princesses, and hire options include a six-hour hire, weekend or overnight, weekday and weekly. The price includes delivery on the Coast, set-up, pick-up and cleaning, and there is no bond or deposit. The inflatables are made in the USA, the crew is accredited to Australian standard AS 3533.4.1, and castles are held down with industrial screw pegs rather than tent pegs. The castle needs 1.5m of access and an extra metre clear on each side, and it runs from a normal power point. A generator can be hired if there is no power nearby. Mention concrete or gravel when you enquire, as hard surfaces need special equipment.

How much room does a castle need?
Allow the size of the castle plus an extra metre on each side, clear of walls, fences and trees. The way in also has to be at least 1.5m wide.
Do we need power at the party?
A standard household power point is enough for the extension lead. If the party is away from power, A-Leap also hires out generators to run the castle.
What happens if the weather turns?
The team watches the forecast and makes the final call on the day. Steady heavy rain or winds above 38km/h mean the hire is cancelled or postponed.
Can a castle go on concrete or gravel?
Yes, with notice. Hard surfaces need mats, tarps, water weights and concrete blocks that are not carried on every job, so tell the team before the party.
Can someone supervise the castle for us?
An attendant can be added to the hire if no adult at the party will be free to watch the children and the castle while it is running.
