About Historic Rivermill
Historic Rivermill is a working heritage property beside the Coomera River at Mount Nathan, below Tamborine Mountain. Groups come for the horses, the animals and the open lawns shaded by old fig trees. Guided rides use Peruvian Paso horses, whose smooth gait suits people who have never been in a saddle. Parties centre on two spaces, each hired exclusively for a morning. The Barn is a private indoor room with a dance floor, while the Red Tables sit in a semi-outdoor area near the water. You can style either one yourself, then add café platters and a one-hour horse experience. Children get their own birthday packages too, with animal feeding, gentle rides and a jumping castle on weekends. These run in the same two spaces and start from the same price, and the family can bring along a cake. Work groups can build a team day from a riverside lunch, alpaca walks, turtle feeding and rides, paying only for the activities they choose. The kitchen, guides and horse team are all in-house, so one conversation can settle the whole plan. In the festive season, evening packages cover the Barn, canapés and drinks for 30 to 150 guests. Which party spaces can we hire?
The Barn is a private indoor space and costs $399 for a morning, while the semi-outdoor Red Tables by the river cost $299. Each runs from 9 am to 1 pm.
Can our group ride horses during a party?
Yes. A one-hour horse experience can be added to an adult party package from $170, and corporate groups can include guided rides in a team day.
Can we bring our own food and drinks?
Food and drinks come from the farm's own kitchen and staff, so outside catering and alcohol are not part of a party booking. Guests with a confirmed party can bring a cake.
What do Christmas party packages cost?
Evening packages start from $95 a head for six canapés and a drinks package, rising to $160 a head for canapés with a seated main. The Barn is included.
How many guests can the farm host?
Adult party inclusions cover up to 20 people. Evening Christmas functions in the Barn suit 30 to 150 guests standing, with seated dinners for up to 80.
