Archie Brothers Surfers Paradise sits on Level 1 of the Galaxy Centre, on the corner of Surfers Paradise Boulevard and Elkhorn Avenue. The circus-styled venue combines bowling, an arcade full of redemption and classic games, a cocktail bar and a kitchen. Groups of 8 or more can book a party package with a host and a reserved area for the whole function. Each package includes one activity, either a game of bowling or an hour on the arcade floor, plus shared food. The higher packages add a one or two hour beverage package, and you can also build your own. The venue runs dedicated packages for hens and bucks parties, work functions, team building, Christmas parties, kids' parties and birthdays. A group that wants the place to itself can ask about exclusive venue hire. The kitchen serves burgers, pizzas, share plates and sides, while the bar pours cocktails, mocktails, wine and beer. Arcade play runs on a game card you load with credit. Tickets you win can be swapped for prizes in the redemption shop. Entry is free, so everyone pays only for what they play. How many people do we need for a party package?
Party packages are set up for 8 or more people. Each one includes a party host and a reserved area for the length of your function.
What does bowling cost at this venue?
One game is $23 from Monday to Wednesday and $26 from Thursday to Sunday. Two games are $30 or $46 across the same days, and kids pay $14.
Can under 18s come along?
Under 18s are allowed until 9pm Sunday to Thursday and until 8pm on Friday and Saturday. Younger children need a responsible adult with them before those times.
Can you cater for dietary requirements at a party?
In most cases, yes, with at least 48 hours notice to the kitchen. The venue cannot guarantee any item is free from allergens, so mention these when you enquire.
How do we get there?
The venue is on Level 1 of the Galaxy Centre. The Cypress Avenue light rail stop is close by, and there are two paid car parks on Cypress Avenue plus paid parking above Cali Beach.
