About Mr Twister
Mr Twister is the stage name of Pete Claude Gauthier, a Gold Coast entertainer who works only in balloon twisting. After 20 years in the trade he is a familiar sight at local shopping centres, festivals and family days, usually wearing a towering balloon hat of his own making and a rainbow tie. The act is simple and it works. He moves among the guests and builds designs in front of them, so children get to watch a long thin balloon turn into something they recognise. His range covers well-known cartoon characters, silly animals, funky swords, wacky hats and balloon flowers, and each child then has something to take home. For a children's birthday party, this means entertainment that keeps working while everyone arrives, plays and eats, with plenty of photo opportunities along the way. The same roving format suits bigger family occasions, from fun days and fairs to Easter, Halloween and Christmas festivities. Prices are not published, so send an enquiry with your event type, date and rough number of children and Mr Twister will come back to you with a quote.

Frequently asked questions
What kinds of balloon designs does Mr Twister make?
He twists well-known cartoon characters, silly animals, funky swords, wacky hats and balloon flowers, and children get to watch each one being made in front of them.
Does Mr Twister only do balloons?
Yes, balloon twisting is his only specialty. He has been making balloon creations around the Gold Coast for 20 years, at parties, shopping centres, festivals and family days.
Do the children keep the balloons?
Yes. Each child gets a balloon creation to take home, so the entertainment also works as a keepsake from the party, and there are good photo opportunities while they are being made.
Does he need a stage or set area at the party?
He roves and mingles with guests as he works, creating the designs right in front of them. Let him know about your space and guest numbers when you send an enquiry.
How much does it cost to hire Mr Twister?
Mr Twister does not publish prices. Send an enquiry with your date, event type and number of guests and he will reply with a quote for your event.
