About The Rose & Crown
The Rose & Crown is a British-style pub on Grey Street, South Brisbane, set on the second level of a heritage-listed Queenslander. It pours cask ales alongside pub classics, and South Bank train station sits on the same level just along the street. Three main function spaces are on offer. The Long Room is a cosy indoor room with direct bar access that seats 45 across several tables or holds 60 standing, and the Rose Terrace wraps around the upper level with high bar tables and banquettes for 50 seated or 80 standing. Larger groups can take the whole second floor, which brings exclusive use of the bar and room for 90 seated or 160 at a cocktail party. A soundproofed karaoke room for up to 16, with professional equipment and a big screen, can be added to a booking. Groups of up to 30 can order grazing and substantial platters or the two or three course a la carte menu. Bigger events can choose a finger food buffet, canapé packages, a roast menu, or a hog roast for 60 guests or more. Drinks can run on a bar tab, a cash bar or a two to four hour beverage package. The pub charges no room hire and sets no minimum spend, and every space is reached by an internal lift. Birthdays from 21sts to 70ths, engagements, anniversaries, hens and bucks parties, reunions, work functions and Christmas events are all on the pub's list. Send an enquiry to arrange a look at the spaces.
