About The Gap Tavern
The Gap Tavern is the local pub on Glenquarie Place in The Gap, set beside Waterworks Road with bushland around it. Its deck looks out over green surrounds, and the interiors are fresh and relaxed. The events team takes bookings from small family gatherings to parties of up to 150. Engagement parties, birthdays, reunions, Christmas parties and work events are all on its list of functions. The bistro is the main function room, an enclosed space with a flexible layout for a corporate dinner, a milestone celebration or a wedding reception. It suits both small and large groups. The sports bar has two large projector screens, high tables and bar stools, which works well for a sport-themed party or a casual work function where guests want to mingle. The pokies room and TAB sit next to it. Outside, the Lower and Upper Decks can be hired on their own or together. The upper deck gives a raised view, and joining the two makes one large open-air space for a bigger crowd. Food comes from the bistro kitchen, which works with local suppliers on steaks, pastas, seafood and pub classics.
