About The Paddo
The Paddo is a large pub on Given Terrace in Paddington, with a bistro, a bottle shop, beer gardens full of hanging greenery and its own comedy club. It trades late every night, with trivia, live music and big-screen sport through the week. Functions can use one of seven areas. The Trophy Room takes 180 cocktail or around 90 to 100 seated, with a private bar, an outdoor area, a pool table and a dance floor on request. The Sync Room holds 150 standing or 100 seated and has audio-visual gear and a sound system. For something outdoors, the Sync Decks are two alfresco areas for up to 70, and the undercover Sync Beer Garden holds 100. The Main Bar Beer Garden suits stand-up parties of up to 200. For a big crowd there is the Main Bar, with its own bar and pool tables for 500 standing or 300 seated, and the Comedy Club room, which seats or stands 300 with a stage, projector and private bar. Function food covers canapé packages from $24 per person, grazing and party platters, a carvery buffet, alternate-drop set menus and high tea. Drinks can run as a bar tab, a cash bar or a timed package from two to four hours. Live entertainment and DJs can be arranged through the events team, and celebration cakes are welcome with a choice of serving options. Send an enquiry with your date and numbers to book.

Drinks packages start at $32 per person for two hours and reach $75 per person for four hours on the Platinum range. Sunday events carry a 10% surcharge and public holidays 15%, and extending past the agreed finish costs $150 for each extra half hour.
Food
The buffet brings two hot dishes, a roast carvery, salads and petit fours, and the set menu is served alternate drop. All dietary needs can be catered for.

What do function canapé packages cost?
Canapé packages need at least 30 guests and run from $24 per person for six items to $48 per person for twelve, split evenly between hot and cold.
Are there sit-down menu options?
Yes. A set menu served alternate drop is $39 per person for a main only, $65 for two courses or $75 for three, with a 20-guest minimum. A carvery buffet is $70 per adult for groups of 40 or more.
How do drinks packages work?
Four packages run for two, three or four hours, starting at $32 per person for two hours of the Bronze range. You can also set up a bar tab with a fixed amount or let guests pay as they go.
Can we bring our own cake?
Yes. Staff can store, cut and serve it on platters for $1 per person or plate it with strawberries and cream for $4 per person. Otherwise they supply a knife, plates and spoons at no charge.
