About The Courtyard @ The Kenmore
The Kenmore is a pub on Moggill Road in Kenmore, in Brisbane's western suburbs, with a European-style restaurant, upper and lower lounges and a sports bar out the back. There is plenty of parking on site, which makes it an easy meeting point for groups from the surrounding suburbs. The Courtyard is the pub's open-air function area, filled with natural light and set with long timber tables, high bar tables and plenty of greenery. It is a semi-private space, so the rest of the pub carries on around it while your group has its own patch. Booked exclusively, the courtyard takes up to 110 standing guests or 70 seated. It can also be split, with the left side holding about 50 standing and the right side about 60, which suits a smaller birthday or work drinks. The venue is happy for you to bring your own decorations to suit the occasion, and the space has Wi-Fi and a screen. Events can start in daylight and run on into the evening. Food comes from the pub's function menus. Canapé packages start at four pieces per guest for groups of 20 or more, with platters, grazing tables and substantial items like sliders and fish and chips, or a shared seated menu of two or three courses. Drinks can be set up as a timed package, a bar tab on consumption or a cash bar, and arrival cocktails can be added. Other function spaces at The Kenmore include a private dining room for 20 and an upper lounge bar.

I didn't eat, so not sure about the food. For a relaxed, beer drinking vibe, this place is quite good. The sports bar out the back does its job. The front bar with outdoor seating and the warm sun streaking in on a cool…
