About Riverland
Riverland is a waterfront bar and kitchen at 167 Eagle Street in the Brisbane CBD. Its decks step down across three levels to the Brisbane River, and almost every seat looks out to the Story Bridge. There are eleven ways to book it for a function. Smaller groups can take Main Deck North for about 30 or the Sky Deck above the Deck Bar for 60, which is reached by stairs only. The Promenade Deck on the lower level sits right on the water with its own bar and entrance, holding 150 standing or 80 seated at high bars. Larger parties can combine areas, such as the Main Deck and Sky Deck for 350 or the Promenade and Middle decks for 450. Exclusive hire hands over the whole venue for up to 1,000, with three private bars, private bathrooms, a separate entrance, a stage and a dance floor. Food comes from two kitchens. Function menus run from canapé packages and mini substantials to share platters that feed eight to ten people, with vegetarian, vegan and low-gluten choices marked. Drinks packages come in Classic, Premium and Deluxe tiers for two to four hours, and larger groups can add a spirit upgrade. The events team shapes the food and drink around the brief, so send an enquiry with your date, numbers and preferred deck.

How many guests can Riverland hold?
Whole-venue hire takes up to 1,000 guests. Individual decks start at around 30 on Main Deck North, and combined areas hold 150 to 450 cocktail style.
What do function canapés cost?
Canapé packages start at $30 per person for four pieces, rising to $41 for six and $50 for eight, with a minimum of 20 guests. Mini substantials such as sliders, bao buns and fish and chips are $12 each.
Are drinks packages available?
Yes. Classic packages run from $53 per person for two hours to $81 for four, Premium from $65 to $93 and Deluxe from $76 to $104. A spirit upgrade costs $29 per person on top of a chosen package. It needs at least 50 guests and has to cover everyone attending.
Can dietary needs be catered for?
Menus mark vegetarian, vegan, low-gluten and low-dairy options, and there is a separate group of vegan, dairy-free and gluten-free canapés. Let the team know about allergies, as trace allergens may be present.
Which areas are private?
Most decks are booked as semi-private areas within the trading bar, some with their own bar and entrance. For a fully private event, exclusive hire gives you the whole venue.
