About Rose Room @ Cloudland
Cloudland sits on Ann Street in Fortitude Valley, a short walk from Fortitude Valley Station, and runs seven dedicated function spaces across several levels. The Rose Room takes up the whole top floor of the building. The room is finished in herringbone parquetry, pink marble, brass and timber-panelled walls, with a 5 metre ceiling and about 417 square metres of floor. Windows look down over the garden greenery and waterfall below, and guests have private bathrooms on the same level. At full size it takes up to 700 guests for a cocktail event, or roughly 384 at banquet tables. Next door, the glass-roofed Terrace holds up to 90 standing and works for pre-dinner drinks, a high tea or an on-site wedding ceremony. The kitchen offers alternate-drop plated menus and share-style feasts, with main and dessert from $79 per person, plus classic and luxe canapés charged by the piece. Larger events can add stations such as a chilled seafood bar, oyster bar or raclette. Drinks run on three tiered packages from two to six hours, starting at $44 per person for two hours. A dedicated sound system is built in, and the in-house styling and AV teams can dress the room for galas, conferences and launches. The events team handles private parties, corporate functions and Christmas events, and a separate wedding planner looks after receptions.
