About QA Hotel
QA Hotel is a heritage pub on James St in New Farm, close to the edge of the Brisbane CBD. It has traded on the strip since the 1800s and now runs three bars, two dining areas, a sports bar and its own conference and function centre. The function centre takes groups from about ten guests up to a hundred, with several rooms and seating layouts to choose from. The King Room sits upstairs with windows looking down over the lower floors and out towards the city, and it works well as a party room. Next door, the Crown Room is heritage listed, with high ceilings and ornate styling that suit a dinner or a dressier celebration. The two rooms open together into one larger space for a big sit-down event or a party, and there is also a boardroom seating twelve for meetings. For something more tucked away, Farrier is an underground whisky bar that only opens for private functions, and it suits a birthday or a quiet dinner out of sight. The Birds Nest is a sunken lounge that can be reserved as a VIP area for after-work drinks or a small group. The pub hosts intimate dinners, corporate meetings and events, birthdays, engagements, weddings and fundraisers. Event packages are put together to suit the group and budget, audio visual equipment is on hand, and the functions team plans each booking with you after you send an enquiry.
