About Oxley Tavern
Oxley Tavern is a local pub on Blunder Road in Oxley, in Brisbane's southwest. It has a casual bistro called Bob's Diner, a sports bar showing live sport, and a spacious outdoor area where groups gather in the sunshine. There is no single dedicated function room. Instead, the tavern sets aside two outdoor areas that together cater for up to 100 people, and the team tailors the arrangement to each booking. Bob's Backyard is a private area with feature lighting and an open sky overhead, good for daytime drinks or a night under the stars. The Cocktail Terrace sits at the main entrance and can be closed off for a smaller celebration or Friday knock-off drinks. Groups of 30 or more can combine Bob's Backyard with the sports bar at no extra cost, and Bob's Diner suits 10 to 20 people for a sit-down meal. Catering is by platter, each feeding roughly 10 to 15 people: Asian-style bites, party pies and sausage rolls, chicken wings, antipasto and mini sliders. Food orders and final numbers are locked in at least 10 days before the event. Beverage packages are available, or a bar tab can be run and paid on the night. The tavern charges no booking fee and sets no minimum spend. Decorations and a full function set-up are included, and a $200 deposit confirms the booking. A celebration cake is the only outside food allowed, and external entertainment needs written approval from the venue. The pub hosts birthdays, engagements, team events and larger group meals. Send an enquiry with your date and numbers to start planning.
